CLEANBAZ Cleaner Agreement

Version 2026-02-17-v3-draft · Effective 2026-02-17

Notice: This document is a draft under attorney review before production use.

1. Parties and Purpose

This Cleaner Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into between CLEANBAZ CLEANING SERVICES ("CLEANBAZ", "we", "our"), a Florida business, and the individual accepting this Agreement ("Cleaner", "you", "your"). This Agreement governs your access to and use of the CLEANBAZ marketplace to receive, accept, and perform residential or commercial cleaning jobs booked by CLEANBAZ customers.

2. Independent Contractor Status [LEGAL REVIEW]

You acknowledge that you are engaged as an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, agent, or joint venturer of CLEANBAZ, unless expressly agreed in a separate written employment contract. You are responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and business licences. Nothing in this Agreement is intended to create an employment relationship. This classification is subject to applicable Florida and federal law and must be reviewed by CLEANBAZ counsel.

3. Truthful Identity Information

You agree to provide truthful, current, and complete information during onboarding and ongoing operation, including legal name, date of birth, current address, phone, email, government-issued photo identification, and emergency contact. You will promptly update CLEANBAZ if any of this information changes. Providing false information may result in immediate suspension or termination and may be reported to law enforcement where legally required.

4. Job Acceptance and Completion

You may claim available cleaning jobs through the CLEANBAZ platform. By claiming a job you commit to: (a) arriving at the customer location on time; (b) performing the scope of work as booked; (c) meeting CLEANBAZ quality and conduct standards; (d) providing before/after photos where required. If you cannot complete an accepted job you must cancel through the platform as soon as possible and follow the CLEANBAZ cancellation policy.

5. Payment and Earnings

For each completed and confirmed job, CLEANBAZ will release 80% of the customer-paid amount to you as your earnings and retain 20% as a platform fee. Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect Express to the payout method you configure. You are responsible for any fees, taxes, or reporting obligations arising from your earnings.

6. Cancellations

Excessive, late, or no-show cancellations may result in reduced visibility on the platform, suspension, or termination. Cancelling after start time, within one hour of scheduled start, or repeatedly cancelling the same customer are all considered material breaches.

7. Customer Property, Theft, and Damage

You will treat the customer's home or business, their belongings, and any keys or entry codes with care and confidentiality. Theft, unauthorised removal of property, or wilful damage will result in immediate termination and may be reported to law enforcement. You must report any accidental damage through the CLEANBAZ Incident Reporting flow within 24 hours of occurrence.

7A. Before/After Photo Documentation — Purpose and Limits [LEGAL REVIEW]

Before/After job photos are required to document the observable condition of the work area at the start and end of a job and to help resolve service-quality or damage disputes fairly. Photo documentation is EVIDENCE, not a legal waiver. Nothing about submitting, viewing, or approving these photos: (a) releases CLEANBAZ, the Cleaner, or their insurers from any liability that would otherwise apply under law, this Agreement, the CLEANBAZ Customer Terms, or the CLEANBAZ Dispute & Damage Policy; (b) waives the customer's right to raise a damage, incomplete-service, or safety complaint after job completion, including complaints for conditions not visible in a photo, conditions that arose from work performed during the job, or hidden or subsurface damage; (c) shifts liability to the customer for pre-existing conditions unless those conditions were photographed AND flagged using the "Existing Damage" option before work began; or (d) replaces or substitutes for any required insurance coverage the Cleaner or CLEANBAZ is obligated to maintain. Access to Before/After photos is strictly limited to (i) the assigned cleaner for that booking, (ii) the customer who booked that specific job, and (iii) authorised CLEANBAZ admins. Photos are never shared with other customers, other cleaners, or third parties, and admin access is audit-logged. Disputes concerning damage, missed scope, or service quality are governed by the CLEANBAZ Dispute & Damage Policy, this Agreement, applicable law, and any applicable insurance policies — not by the photo record alone. CLEANBAZ reviews Before/After photos alongside incident reports, chat logs, timestamps, insurance status, and other relevant evidence, and reaches its determination in its reasonable discretion consistent with those policies. CLEANBAZ does NOT automatically decide fault or promise reimbursement based on the photo record.

7B. Customer Disputes and Damage Claims [LEGAL REVIEW]

Customer complaints, service-quality disputes, and property-damage claims are governed by the separate CLEANBAZ Dispute & Damage Policy (available in the CLEANBAZ platform and at cleanbazservices.com/legal). Key points you acknowledge by accepting this Agreement: (a) You will cooperate fully and truthfully with any CLEANBAZ review of a booking you performed, including providing photos, incident reports, and requested information within the timelines set in the Dispute Policy. (b) CLEANBAZ does NOT automatically determine fault or promise reimbursement to any party. Any determination requires review of the available evidence and applicable policies, and may result in no adjustment, a partial or full refund to the customer, a payout adjustment, a re-clean requirement, referral to insurance, or account action. (c) CLEANBAZ may hold the disputed payout in escrow during review. (d) Property-damage or bodily-injury claims exceeding what CLEANBAZ can resolve at the platform level may be referred to the applicable insurance policies or to law. (e) Filing knowingly false claims, staging damage, or retaliating against a party who filed a good-faith complaint is prohibited and is grounds for immediate termination.

8. Customer Confidentiality and Privacy

Any information you observe or receive about a customer, their household, or their business — including addresses, entry codes, family details, health information, financial documents, or children — is strictly confidential. You will not photograph, record, disclose, or share such information other than as required to complete the job or as required by law.

9. Professional Conduct and Safety

You will act professionally at all times, refrain from harassment or discrimination, refuse to work while impaired, follow OSHA-style safe cleaning practices, use required PPE where appropriate, and avoid unsafe conditions. If a job site presents an unsafe condition you should decline to enter and report the situation through the CLEANBAZ platform.

10. Transportation and Auto Insurance Requirements

Reaching CLEANBAZ jobs and transporting supplies typically requires reliable transportation. If you use a personal or leased vehicle to travel to CLEANBAZ jobs, you must maintain, at your own expense, valid auto insurance that lawfully covers your use of that vehicle for CLEANBAZ-related driving. A standard personal auto policy may NOT cover business use — you are responsible for confirming with your carrier that your policy covers your CLEANBAZ activity, and for obtaining commercial or business-use endorsements if required. You must upload current proof of insurance to CLEANBAZ, including carrier, policy number, and expiration date, and re-upload before every renewal. CLEANBAZ will block acceptance of transportation-required jobs when your insurance is missing, rejected, or expired. There is no automatic grace period.

11. Incident, Accident, and Injury Reporting

You must report to CLEANBAZ, promptly and truthfully, any (a) vehicle accident involving CLEANBAZ-related travel; (b) injury to you, the customer, or a third party at the job site; (c) property damage; (d) theft accusation; (e) customer confrontation, harassment, or safety incident; and (f) any other material event that could impact CLEANBAZ, the customer, or you. Reports must be filed through the CLEANBAZ Incident Reporting flow as soon as it is safe to do so, and no later than 24 hours after the incident.

12. Identity and Background Verification

You consent to CLEANBAZ verifying your identity through your submitted government-issued photo ID. Where required by law or customer policy, CLEANBAZ may engage a compliant third-party background-check provider. CLEANBAZ does not store your full Social Security number; where SSN-based verification is legitimately required, only the last four digits are stored on-platform and the verification is performed by the third-party provider.

13. CLEANBAZ Equipment and Branded Materials

You may be provided with CLEANBAZ-branded materials (badge, ID card, marketing collateral). These remain the property of CLEANBAZ and must be returned or destroyed upon termination. You will not represent yourself as an employee of CLEANBAZ, and you will not use CLEANBAZ marks other than to identify yourself as an independent CLEANBAZ Pro.

14. Prohibited Conduct

You will NOT: (a) accept off-platform payment for CLEANBAZ jobs; (b) solicit CLEANBAZ customers off-platform; (c) subcontract a job to another individual without CLEANBAZ approval; (d) use, sell, or distribute controlled substances at a job site; (e) discriminate against customers on any legally protected basis; or (f) engage in any illegal activity in connection with the platform.

15. Termination and Suspension

CLEANBAZ may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at its discretion for material breach of this Agreement, expired or missing required insurance or identity documentation, safety concerns, customer complaints, fraudulent activity, or as required by law. You may end your relationship with CLEANBAZ at any time; outstanding payouts for completed jobs will be released per the normal payout cycle.

16. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law [LEGAL REVIEW]

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under this Agreement shall first be attempted in good-faith informal resolution; if unresolved, the parties agree to a venue mutually acceptable to a licensed Florida attorney representing CLEANBAZ. Any binding-arbitration, class-action-waiver, or jury-trial-waiver clause is subject to attorney review before use.

17. Indemnification and Limitation of Liability [LEGAL REVIEW]

You agree that you are solely responsible for your acts and omissions while performing CLEANBAZ jobs. Indemnification, hold-harmless, and limitation-of-liability language is expressly flagged for review by CLEANBAZ counsel before this Agreement is used in production. CLEANBAZ does not represent that this software feature, the CLEANBAZ platform, or this Agreement is a substitute for the actual insurance policies CLEANBAZ or the Cleaner is required to carry.

18. Compliance With Applicable Law

You will comply with all applicable federal, state (including Florida), and local laws, ordinances, and regulations while performing CLEANBAZ jobs, including but not limited to tax reporting, immigration eligibility to work, occupational safety, and driving laws.

19. Electronic Acceptance and Required Onboarding Step

Acceptance of this Agreement is a REQUIRED final step of CLEANBAZ onboarding — you cannot accept, start, or be paid for CLEANBAZ jobs until you have actively accepted the then-current version. By clicking "I have read and accept this Agreement" you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement and the referenced CLEANBAZ Dispute & Damage Policy. CLEANBAZ records the exact agreement version, the acceptance date/time, your cleaner ID, and the source IP and user-agent of the accepting device. CLEANBAZ may update this Agreement from time to time and will require re-acceptance for material changes; the prior version remains part of the historical record.

Notice — Attorney Review Required Before Production

This Agreement is a DRAFT prepared for engineering integration and MUST be reviewed and finalised by a licensed Florida attorney and, where applicable, a licensed commercial insurance agent before it is used with production cleaners. Sections marked [LEGAL REVIEW] are especially likely to require attorney edits.
